Chaplaincy Initiative

More resources to lead your chapter brothers in spiritual development.

Are you interested in establishing a chapter chaplaincy in your chapter?
Perhaps you want to help strengthen your current chapter’s chaplaincy role.

What might it look like to help care for the spiritual needs of your brothers?
To help further their spiritual development and grow in their faith?

Through the Order’s Spiritual Development Initiative, we’re working to help
chapters start or strengthen their chapter chaplains.

A chapter chaplain could:

  • Pray for the chapter at functions and events
  • Pray for and minister to individual brothers in need
  • Host Bible studies for the chapter
  • Facilitate discussions about the intersection of Christian principles and themes and the customs of the Order and how your chapter can more faithfully live out those principles
  • Encourage and facilitate the sharing of testimonies & faith experiences

Training for chaplains will be available upon request and provided through our National Chaplain program without cost to your chapter. This will include resource recommendations to help the chapter chaplain be successful in his role. These may include books, Bible studies, small group studies, etc.
