Broderick “Brody” Grant (Alpha–Washington & Lee ’23) spent the summer doing an eight-week internship in the Nashville office of Tennessee governor Bill Lee (Nu–Auburn ’78). Grant, who is Alpha chapter’s Number I, learned about how the government functions at the state level, and what it means for a governor to basically be the CEO of a multi-billion-dollar business. Following this internship, he traveled to Vienna, Austria, where he is studying for the fall semester through the IES (Institute for the International Education of Students) Study Abroad Vienna School of Business and Economics program. A double major at Washington and Lee, Grant is studying global politics and American history with a minor in law, justice and society (LJS).
