Virginia Tech Alumnus Produces Movies Including 2024’s Red Right Hand

Zachary A. “Zak” Kristofek (Epsilon Eta–Virginia Tech ’10) is a movie producer in Hollywood. He got his experience as a line producer, production manager, and assistant director.  Worked his way up to Head of Physical Production at Bad Idea Films,  supervising films like Wildlife starring Carey Mulligan and Jake Gyllenhaal, and Book Club starring Diane Keaton and Jane Fonda.

Now, he is a partner with Traction, a film and television entertainment company that released Starkeisha ( 2022) and A Lot of Nothing (2022). Also, their action thriller, Red Right Hand is being released in theaters and on digital starting February 23, 2024.

As an undergraduate, he served as the Number I of his chapter.
