Virginia Tech Alumni Establish New Scholarship Endowment for Epsilon Eta Chapter

Headshot

Alumni from the Epsilon Eta Chapter have established a scholarship endowment in memory of James H. Cochrane, Jr. (Epsilon Eta–Virginia Tech ’78) through the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation.

Jim was a devoted brother and friend to many who passed through the Epsilon Eta Chapter and was a loyal and dedicated KA. He was a member of the Crimson & Gold Society, the 1865 Trust, and the Loyal Order. Additionally, Jim was a member of the Ammen and Wood Courts of Honor. He rarely missed a KA-sponsored event and was always willing to lend a hand.

Once fully funded, this scholarship will be awarded annually to an undergraduate brother from the Epsilon Eta Chapter.

If you wish to contribute to this endowment, you can do so by mailing a check payable to “KAOEF” to P.O. Box 1865, Lexington, Virginia 24450, or by donating online and entering “James H. Cochrane, Jr. Scholarship” in the gift notes field.
