Calvin Michael Moniz (Mu–Tulsa ’04) has been decisively elected to the Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education for District 2, garnering an impressive 65.45% of the vote. A dedicated Tulsa resident for over two decades, Moniz is an alumnus of The University of Tulsa, where he was initiated into the Mu Chapter of Kappa Alpha Order in December 2004. He is a distinguished member of the Locke Province Court of Honor, the Loyal Order, the Crimson and Gold Society, and the 1865 Trust. Moniz also actively contributes to KA as alumnus advisor for the Mu Chapter at The University of Tulsa.
