On Saturday, November 9, 2024, Knight Commander King V. Aiken, Jr. (Kappa–Mercer ’83) re-issued the Epsilon Iota Charter to the gentlemen of the Texas State University Provisional Chapter. The ceremony and banquet were held at the Onion Creek Country Club in Austin, Texas, and were well attended by alumni, parents, staff, and volunteers.
At the banquet Executive Director Larry Stanton Wiese (Gamma Omega–Midwestern State ’87) welcomed all attendees and gave opening remarks, Former Number I Travis M. Dalrymple (Epsilon Iota–Texas State ’01) led the pledge of allegiance to the U.S. Flag, and Former Number I Andrew J. Huber (Epsilon Iota–Texas State ’09) led the pledge of allegiance to the Texas state flag. Housing Corporation President David W. Cade (Epsilon Iota–Texas State ’79) gave the invocation. Following dinner, Number I Evan M. Likins (Epsilon Iota–Texas State ’24) gave an address from the Chapter, and Senior Councilor James M. Schmuck (Alpha Eta–Westminster ’69) installed the chapter officers with Duncan Province Commander Travis B. Lacox (Gamma Tau–Sam Houston State ’00) presented them with their officer jewels. Knight Commander Aiken gave his remarks, provided a State of the Order, and presented the Epsilon Iota Charter. To conclude the evening, Former Number I Wesley J. Box (Epsilon Iota–Texas State ’79) provided the benediction.

The Chapter Members were initiated on Friday, November 8 in the Lyndon B. Johnson Student Center by members of the Gamma Tau Chapter at Sam Houston State University and the Delta Kappa Chapter at Stephen F. Austin State University.
