The University of Southern Indiana Men’s and Women’s Tennis recently announced the hiring of R. Chantz Parson (Zeta Omicron–Southern Indiana ’12) as their assistant coach.
“I’m extremely excited about the hiring of Chantz Parsons,” said head coach Chris Crawford. “He has numerous years of coaching and teaching experience in tennis. He has a lot of energy, passion, and work ethic. I look forward to working with him and having him work with our student-athletes here at USI.”
Parson graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in health services. Parson has coached at Evansville Reitz Memorial High School as the head coach of the girl’s tennis team and at Evansville Central High School. He also has worked as the tennis director of the Tri-State Area Tennis Association and is a tennis professional at the Tri-State Athletic Club in Evansville.
