Anna Edwards was initiated into Kappa Kappa Gamma fraternity at Clemson University in January 1998, and graduated from Clemson in 2001. Upon graduation, Anna worked for Kappa Kappa Gamma as a Leadership consultant, visiting over 30 college campuses throughout that year. She got the “student affairs bug” from being on college campuses all over the country.
Volunteering in the community plays an important role in Anna’s life. She has served as a national volunteer for Kappa Kappa Gamma fraternity in a variety of roles including a member of KKG’s NPC delegation, District Director, member of Long-Range Task Force, Extension Team. She also is a member of the Junior League of Columbia and has held a variety of leadership roles, including President of the 1,500-member organization in 2020-21.
Professionally, Anna has been a member of the Student Affairs team at USC since 2005. She has served in a variety of roles in the Department of Student Life, and currently serves as AVP for Student Life and Chief of Staff for Student Affairs and Academic Support. She is an avid supporter of the Greek experience on campus and regularly advocates for experience and support on campus and beyond.
Anna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Speech and Communication Studies from Clemson University and a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs, and Ph.D. in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina.
Anna and her husband Josh live in Little Mountain, SC with their three children.
Anna remains a fierce advocate for the fraternity experience at USC. She has always supported Rho chapter at USC not only in times of achievement but most importantly throughout their challenges. She is commitment to the development and growth of young men through the fraternity experience. Her leadership has improved the fraternity community at USC which now serves as a model and leader for other campuses around the country.
