On Friday, November 22, 2024, seventeen men at Furman University were inducted into Kappa Alpha Order as members awaiting initiation. The ceremony was held on campus in the Watkins Room of the Trone Student Center.
Assistant Executive Director for Chapter Services Anthony M. Graziani (Zeta Pi–Florida Gulf Coast ’07) welcomed attendees and gave opening remarks. Frampton Province Commander Matthew T. Mandeville (Beta Rho–Roanoke ’12) gave the invocation, then he conducted the Induction Ceremony along with Anthony Graziani and Associate Director for Chapter Services Brandon M. Brown (Gamma Lambda–North Texas ’21). Province Commander Mandeville installed the chapter officers and presented the chapter with its provisional certificate issued by Executive Director Larry Stanton Wiese.
The group is now the Furan Provisional Chapter. Once they have completed their chartering requirements, they will petition the Knight Commander to restore the Iota charter and be an active chapter in good standing.
