Presbyterian Alumnus Installed as Family Court Judge for South Carolina’s 8th District

In February 2025, Honorable James C. “Jim” Todd IV (Beta Pi–Presbyterian ’06) was elected by the South Carolina General Assembly to serve as a family court judge for the 8th Circuit. He was sworn in on Thursday, March 13.

Todd served his chapter as Number V (Historian) and Number I (President). He was also a DC intern in the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation’s E. Fleming Mason Memorial Internship Program in 2008, interning for Congressman Barrett (SC) and Congressman Carter (TX).
