William A. “Bill” Wood passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021, in Winchester, Virginia. Brother Wood was the grandson of Chief Founder James Ward Wood. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna W. Wood on March 30, 2018, a daughter, Robin Stultz, and brothers, John W. Wood, Harlin Wood and infant brother, Jonathon Wood. He is survived by a sonin- law, Robert Stultz of Weston, West Virginia; granddaughter, Amelia Wagner (Nick) of Coalton, West Virginia; a foster daughter, Tracy Perdue; and, great-grandchildren, Morgan and Jeb Wagner.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Baker West Virginia. At the request of Knight Commander Simmons, former Ammen Province Commander Carlton W. Baker (Zeta–Randolph-Macon ’81) represented the Order. Interment was at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Lost City, West Virginia.

At Knight Commander Simmons’ request, Brother Wood was memorialized on the record by Former Knight Commander J. Michael Duncan during the 79th Convention on July 31, 2021, during the Closing Session at the Arizona Biltmore.
