On Friday, November 1, 2024, Knight Commander King V. Aiken, Jr. (Kappa–Mercer ’83) issued the Eta Alpha Charter to the gentlemen of The Ohio State University Provisional Chapter. The ceremony and banquet were held in the Grand Ballroom of Westin Great Southern Columbus in Columbus, Ohio, and were well attended by alumni, parents, staff, and volunteers.
At the banquet Executive Director Larry Stanton Wiese (Gamma Omega–Midwestern State ’87) welcomed all attendees and gave opening remarks, Director of College & University Relations Cooper W. Carroll (Delta Kappa–Stephen F. Austin State ’17) led the pledge of allegiance, and Traylor Province Commander Collin B. Taylor (Delta Mu–Eastern Kentucky ’96) gave the invocation. Following dinner, Associate Director of Housing Teri Cugliari gave remarks on behalf of the University, Number I Andrew T. Neimeier (Eta Alpha–Ohio State ’24) gave an address from the Chapter, and Senior Councilor James M. Schmuck (Alpha Eta–Westminster ’69) installed the chapter officers with Province Commander Taylor and presented them with their officer jewels. Knight Commander Aiken gave his remark and State of the Order and presented the Eta Alpha Charter. To conclude the evening, Fraternity Housing Corporation Executive Vice President Brent W. Fellows (Epsilon Theta–Western Kentucky ’98) gave the invocation.

The Chapter Members were initiated on Sunday, October 27 in The Ohio Union by members of the Epsilon Lambda Chapter at the University of Miami and the Beta Upsilon Chapter at Marshall University.
