On Monday, October 9, 2023, nineteen men at the University of North Alabama were inducted into Kappa Alpha Order as members awaiting initiation. The ceremony was held at The Strickland Hotel in Florence, Alabama.
Assistant Executive Director for Chapter Services Anthony M. Graziani (Zeta Pi–Florida Gulf Coast ’07 ) welcomed attendees and Director of College and University Relations Cooper W. Carroll (Delta Kappa–Stephen F. Austin State ’17) gave the invocation before Dunwody Province Commander E. Preston Pritchett III (Nu–Auburn ’10) presenting the chapter with their Provisional Certificate. Province Commander Pritchett conducted the induction ceremony of new members with the assistance of Associate Director for Chapter Services Garrett S. Stengl (Epsilon Phi–George Mason ’19) and Cooper Carroll, and then he installed the chapter officers.
The group was presented with their provisional certificate issued by Executive Director Larry Stanton Wiese. They are now the North Alabama Provisional Chapter. Once they have completed their chartering requirements, they will petition the Knight Commander to regain their charter and be an active chapter in good standing.
