Irwin Province Commander Hunter M. Lipscomb (Beta Tau–Mississippi State ’04) was recognized by the Mississippi Business Journal as a member of its 2024 Top 40 Under 40 class. A luncheon was held at the Old Capitol Inn in Jackson on April 25.
Class members were selected due to their professional achievements by a panel of business and community leaders.
In his role, Lipscomb guides the company’s external affairs and business strategies and provides advisory services to assist clients with their project development needs. Prior to this, he spent nearly a decade as a congressional staffer, culminating in his role as a chief of staff. He was also director of governmental affairs at the Mississippi Development Authority. He earned his undergraduate degrees in political science, history and Spanish, along with a
Master of Business Administration degree, from Mississippi State University. He also holds a Master of Economic Development degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Lipscomb is also an intelligence officer in the Mississippi Air National Guard and a veteran of Operation Inherent Resolve.
Hunter’s wife, Whitney, was also a member of the 2024 40 Under 40 Class.
