The family of Carla and David Stutts (Delta Sigma–Houston Baptist ’79) were named the 2022 “Family of the Year” by Houston Christian University for exemplifying Christian family values and contributing their time, talent, and resources in support of HCU’s mission.
David earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management in 1982, and has served as chair of the alumni board, chair of the HCU Board of Trustees, and has received the Alumni Association’s 2015 Meritorious Alumnus Award.
David has been a member of the Houston Baptist Alumni Chapter and the Houston Alumni Chapter, has served as alumnus advisor for the Delta Sigma Chapter, and was inducted into the Duncan Court of Honor. He is also a 4-year member of the KAOEF Crimson & Gold Society.
