On Saturday, November 2, 2024, Knight Commander King V. Aiken, Jr. (Kappa–Mercer ’83) re-issued the Beta Epsilon Charter to the gentlemen of the University of Delaware Provisional Chapter. The ceremony and banquet were held in the Veranda Room of White Clay Creek Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware, and were well attended by alumni, parents, staff, and volunteers.
At the banquet Executive Director Larry Stanton Wiese (Gamma Omega–Midwestern State ’87) welcomed all attendees and gave opening remarks, Housing Advisor Gary R. Cloud (Beta Epsilon–Delaware ’72) led the pledge of allegiance, and Alumnus Advisor Dr. Steven E. “Steve” Hastings (Beta Epsilon–Delaware ’70) gave the invocation. Following dinner, Number I Zachary P. Maksimiak (Beta Epsilon–Delaware ’24) gave an address from the Chapter, and Senior Councilor James M. Schmuck (Alpha Eta–Westminster ’69) installed the chapter officers with Ammen Province Commander Darron E. Franta (Gamma Tau–Sam Houston State ’90) presented them with their officer jewels. Knight Commander Aiken gave his remarks, presented Certificates of Honor to Mark Adcock (Beta Epsilon–Delaware ’77), Gary Cloud, and Bruce L. Hudson (Beta Epsilon–Delaware ’65), bestowed the Knight Commander’s Accolade, the highest honor an alumnus can receive, to Steve Hastings, and presented the Beta Epsilon Charter. To conclude the evening, Bruce Hudson provided the benediction.

The Chapter Members were initiated on Friday, October 19 in Ewing Hall by members of the Zeta Theta Chapter at James Madison University and Alexander O. Buzzo (Zeta–Randolph-Macon ’22).
