On Thursday, October 3, 2024, the Wood Court of Honor held its annual dinner and induction ceremony at the Tidewater Inn in Easton, Maryland.
Following a reception, seven brothers were recognized and invested with the provincial cross of honor in recognition of their outstanding service to the Order and accomplishments which have brought honor to Kappa Alpha Order.

- Gary R. Cloud (Beta Epsilon–Delaware ’72)
- Mark A. DiRienz (Beta Epsilon–Delaware ’80)
- Courtney H. Fletcher (Beta Omega–Washington College ’99)
- Tanner L. Gellinger (Zeta Omicron–Southern Indiana ’12)
- Stephen A. McLeod (Alabama–Alpha Beta), Initiated (Delta Rho–Valdosta State ’84)
- David A. Stricker (Beta Omega–Washington College ’02)
Following the induction and dinner, Dr. Steven E. Hastings gave an update on the reopening of the Beta Epsilon chapter. He was also insalled as Preceptor of the Court. Former Knight Commadner Ben W. Satcher, Jr. gave an update on the Order and the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation. Finally, Mark DiRienz gave a presenetaion on his efforts to renovate Cobbs Hall, Birthplace of the Lees of Virginia circa 1656 in Dividing Creek, Northumberland County, Virginia.
Their next annual dinner and investiture will be on Thursday, October 3, 2025, in Delaware.
