Gordon H. Harris

The Executive Council of Kappa Alpha Order and the Board of Trustees of the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation met in late April to discuss various elements of KA business.

Councilors and Trustees should be forgiven if, with one eye on audit committees and financial statements, their other was on the scheduled unveiling of the new National Administrative Office at Mulberry Hill. For most of the leadership, this was their first chance to visit the Order‘s new home, and not even a violent evening thunderstorm could dampen their enthusiasm.

During the evening alumnus Stumpy Harris was presented with the Knight Commander’s Accolade for his long and dedicated commitment to the Order. Most recently, Brother Harris’ Florida law firm assisted in the complex legal maneuverings that preceded the sale of the old KA headquarters building in downtown Lexington.
